BAND-A-THON Requests ...

Two requests ...

1. Socks!  We need clean socks.  If you have a bunch of singletons or saintly ones (with holes) hanging around, send them in with your child. Please, we need them clean.  We will not be sending them back.
2.  Folding music stands.  We need extras to support the performance of the 6th,7th and 8th graders together. If you have one at home, please send it to school with your child on Friday.  Please label both parts with your name.  They will go back home with your child on Friday night.

Two reminders ...

1.  Pick up for students who are performing only will be at 6 pm on the Blacktop, which is the parking lot adjacent to Hwy 55.  Pick up for students who are staying for Pizza/Band Olympics/After Party will be at 8:30 at the Blacktop.  If you are planning to pick up your child at any time different from these two times, please pick up your student in the gym.
2.  Band-a-thon performance portion is required.  Those who raised $25 will receive a picture with their friends, and those who raised $40 or more are invited to the Band-O-lympics and Party.

And a THANK YOU ...

Many thanks to those who volunteered for Bandathon!  We have filled all of our volunteer positions with wonderful volunteers!  You all are wonderful.  An email will be sent out on or before Wednesday 10/23 to all volunteers, indicating your volunteer position.  If we weren't able to utilize your gracious offer of help, please still come and enjoy the music.  You may see a situation where help is needed, and you are welcome to step in.  If you do not see an email by Wednesday, please email Bergit Albrecht  at bergit@albrecht.com or Sarah Giuliano atslgiuliano4@gmail.com.
