2013 School Year  This year promises to be full of music and fun!

6th graders are invited join Mrs Bishop for a mini-camp early in August in the Band Room to get a hand-on introduction to their instrument. We've got a bandathon coming early in October, marching in the Apex Christmas Parade for the 7th & 8th graders, and holiday concerts in December.  During the winter, 7th & 8th graders can also participate in the all-county, all-district, and all-state competitions.  In the spring, we'll participate in some adjudicated performances, and end the year with the spring concerts.

About AMS Bands  Apex Middle School Bands include a beginning band, intermediate band, and advanced band, along with a Pep Band which plays at home football games in the fall, and a Jazz Band which plays during school concerts and special gatherings during the year. Mrs. Helen Bishop directs each band.
